LAI has completed a high-level analysis of wind potential in New England for ISO New England as part of their Scenario Analysis process. Our analysis, “Technical Assessment of Onshore and Offshore Wind Generation Potential in New England”, quantified the maximum theoretical wind generation potential for both onshore and offshore sites. In addition, the report analyzed publicly available historic wind data in New England in order to quantify wind speed patterns and variability.
